The next generation XSTAR power module has been in the field since January and has improved performance, ease of use, and durability over the original system.  XSTAR enables satellite radio customers of both Sirius and XM to use their inexpensive &#8220;plug and play&#8221; radios as true live portable systems, running on common AA or AAA batteries, either disposable or rechargeable, for less than $100.
