Is Bigfoot Real? New Novel Proposes a Unique Answer

Newspapers, magazines, and websites continually report Bigfoot sightings ranging from "something was out there" to "it grabbed my arm." Lisa A. Shiel’s new 466-page novel "The Hunt for Bigfoot" offers a plausible answer by means of an entertaining romp through Michigan's north woods — a wild journey laced with murder, intrigue, conspiracy, romance, extraterrestrials, and a new theory of alternative history. If Bigfoot lives around us just beyond the borders of our civilized enclaves, could somebody be protecting them from our interference? (PRWeb Mar 3, 2004)

Where Did We Come From?New Novel Offers Unique Answer to This Ultimate Question

Author Lisa A. Shiel delved into the theories of human evolution, the postulates of alternative histories, the mythology surrounding Bigfoot, and the evidence of Egyptian archaeology. In “The Hunt for Bigfoot: A Novel,” Shiel leads the reader to a plausible, yet credible, new theory of alternative history through a multilayered mystery enriched with murder, intrigue, romance, and extraterrestrial visitors. In this new novel, a would-be anthropologist and an amateur Egyptologist search Michigan’s north woods and tumble onto a hidden Bigfoot society protected by an ancient race and a mysterious billionaire. To stay alive, they must unravel an enigma half a billion years in the weaving and find the creatures science says cannot exist. (PRWeb Feb 9, 2004)
