Mammoth Networks Marries Carriers at Fiber Hotels

Mammoth's physical presence in fiber hotels is allowing the company to combine TDM and IP solutions, creating private circuits where they wouldn't be possible before. Mammoth customers (known as Partners within the company) have additional reach into markets where an end-to-end solution does not currently exist. The example Mammoth uses is a Partner who desires a 100Mbps connection between rural Montana and a location in Seattle - the company provisions an OC3 in Montana, pointed to a GigE connection on the Seattle end, seamlessly transitioning the circuit between the two locations. (PRWeb Jul 20, 2008)
