Federal Prison Camps Resource

My unyielding state of denial eventually broke like a fever and I was able to see the dreadful realization that lay before me. I indeed was going to spend some time in prison and it was clear that all other options had finally expired. "It’s one of those Federal Prison Camps with no fences or anything like that," my attorney went on to say, "It won’t be that bad." I appreciated his attempt to downplay or lessen my obvious concerns but how would he know? He’s never been there. Besides, I’m not the type of guy that wants anything sugar-coated, tell me like it is so I know what to expect and I can prepare for it mentally. I decided to take things into my own hands from this point on and turned to the search engines and cyber space to begin this self educating process in regards to the ordeal I would soon be facing. I have to say that I was more than somewhat surprised to find out that after several days and hours of reading and searching, I knew little more than I had already come to learn on my own through the process of indictment and meetings with my lawyer. I was looking for answers to very simple questions that could only be answered by someone who had been there, but unfortunately what I personally was looking for apparently didn’t exist.
Creative Gifts

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to buying somebody a gift, I am the worst. I’ve always thought myself to be a wise consumer and I’m almost certain that I have good taste, but I just never seem to know where to begin; and so, procrastination, welcome once again. Will a trip to the mall be in my near future? And if so will I be able to escape the dreaded “parking garage” without acquiring yet another ding to my current collection. Some people actually seem to enjoy the whole experience but as you can tell, I’ve never been one to fall into that category. I’ve discovered that shopping on-line is much more my speed and I just love that sense of accomplishment I get every time the UPS man shows up at my office; one little signature and the goods are handed over.
Federal Prison Camps

Federal Prison Camps.com is a rather unique and extremely personal take on incarceration at a minimum security, federal prison camp. From indictment to lawyers, denial to acceptance, feelings of vulnerability and eventually finding that right frame of mind that is needed to take someone through such a difficult period in life. This site truly is about one mans mental preparation and includes information that one may find encouraging as well as discouraging or down right frightening. It’s obvious that the intent of the site is not to make anyone feel good (though some portions may), but rather to tell it like it is holding back no punches. Great information for anyone interested in knowing more about incarceration at a federal prison camp, cleverly written with interesting colorful graphics and even a bit of artistic expression which makes this website unlike anything else I’ve seen out there. Knowledge is Knowing better. (PRWeb Feb 8, 2005)

The large number of individuals incarcerated in this country is nothing when you stop to think about the number of family members and loved ones also affected by an inmate's prison term. These individuals (often innocent bystanders), are left behind to fend for themselves, learning to cope with their new life, chosen by another's action. (PRWeb Nov 12, 2004)

Prison

Discover a hobby for yourself; staying busy is extremely important. Take a class, teach a class, paint, write poetry, learn a new skill. Find your rhythm, structure your days and stick with it. This was the advice given to me upon my arrival at the camp by an inmate who was looking at a five year bid. It seemed to make sense to me, find a way to exercise my brain and stay productive as I appeared to be entering the most unproductive period of my life since fifth grade recess.
Federal Prison

What is it really like at a Federal Prison Camp? What does Martha have in store? I personally don’t know her and can only wish her well but I will tell you that arrogance is not a great personality trait to carry into prison. Humble, friendly and low key does the trick considering the trick is how to get through a difficult period as uneventful as possible. This website answers all of your questions and gives you an incredibly candid and realistic view of what incarceration in a federal prison camp is really like. Life does not come to an end when faced with this predicament however avoiding it all together is by far the preferred method to maintaining a sense of stability and consecutiveness in your life path. Business students and Professors involved with Business Ethics could benefit from this site as well. (PRWeb Oct 8, 2004)

Business Ethics in the classroom

Is Business Ethics adequately being addressed in our classrooms across the country? I don't know the answer to that for sure seeing that I haven't been in a classroom for almost twenty years. What I am sure of however, is that I am the type of individual that gives back that extra $10.00 to the cashier who thought that I gave her a twenty when it was actually a ten. And yet, I am a convicted felon who went to prison for fraud. My point is this. One wrong turn in life can result in a no turning back situation and the next thing you know, you’re smack in the middle of your own tragedy. If this can happen to me, it can happen to many others who never could have imagined it. So many factors come into play and I believe that business students could only do well from hearing a story like mine first hand. I want to make a difference and this is the only way I know how. Please check out my website and invite me into your classroom. The consequences associated with unethical behavior in the business world need to be made real in order to be accepted as reality. A heavy dose of reality is a lesson with impact.www.federalprisoncamps.com Boston, MA (PRWeb Oct 6, 2004)
