Now in its fourth year, these awards are the only ones recognizing the distinct efforts of homeschoolers. This year&#039;s recipients include a homeschool family from Michigan that saved two men from drowning, a couple from Louisiana that formed a Website for African American homeschoolers, a homeschool parent who lobbied in Pennsylvania for his son and other homeschooled children to have equal access to high school sports, and a reporter in Florida who wrote an article debunking many myths about homeschooling.
