Spearheaded by Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca and Bishop Edward Turner, chair of the Sheriff&#8217;s Executive Clergy Advisory Council, the 6th Annual Multi-Faith Prayer Breakfast brought together a wide range of religious groups from Christian to Muslim to Buddhist to Scientologist. Held at the Department of Public Social Services Building on West Imperial Highway, Community Day, despite the rainy weather, again attracted thousands of people looking to take advantage of the large job fair, car, clothing and food give-aways, home buyers expo and other exhibits to better themselves and the community.
