The group, who call themselves New Orleans Cooks, is on a mission to make life more bearable for the people of Cedar Rapids. The group hopes to accomplish that through a warm smile, and a comforting meal.  Volunteers from New Orleans Cooks will serve over 1500 meals during their time in the flood-ravaged area.
