Trophy Bucks Go To School Courtesy of the Cervid Livestock Foundation and Minnesota Deer Hunters Association

More than 12,000 students from 25 schools got to see trophy bucks up close and personal when Steve Porter brought his traveling deer display to them on a state-wide tour of Minnesota. Mr. Porter owns and operates a deer farm in northern Minnesota, where he is also chief deputy of the Kittson County Sheriff's Office. Steve took most of his vacation days to educate kids about deer behavior, antler development and the family bonds formed when families hunt and farm together. His goal is to get kids motivated enough to turn off the computer, put down their cell phones and venture outdoors. The Cervid Livestock Foundation (CLF), North American Deer Farmers Association (NADeFA), and the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association (MDHA) provided funding for this project. (PRWeb Dec 13, 2008)

It is rare to have 24 organizations representing every aspect of the Texas Outdoors to have a common voice. However, with critical funding issues facing Texas Parks & Wildlife, what better reason to unite? Millions of hunters, anglers, landowners, and others who share a strong interest in sustaining our conservation heritage are hoping to be heard by the Texas Senate. (PRWeb Feb 7, 2007)

Niche Website Offers 16,000 Farms and Ranches to Help Buyers Find the Perfect Recreational Property

"It made perfect sense to partner with www.TexasHuntFish.com in order to provide content for their community and assist our sellers with getting their real estate in front of more buyers. In Texas, we have almost 7,000 recreational properties currently advertised and what better audience to put them in front of than the largest hunting and fishing website in Texas?" said Allen Shannon, founder of LandsofAmerica.com. "It just made sense." (PRWeb Nov 12, 2006)
