The plan includes a 60%, $6 million cut to the community-based programs that provide critical services as well as a $2.7 million cut to the County operated mental health clinics, ensuring that many people who need services in the future will be denied access to care. The community estimates that more than 800 people would become homeless as a direct result of the cuts.
