The Gift that Keeps on Giving: A Breakthrough in Kidney Transplantation in 2007

Toledo-based Alliance for Paired Donation (APD) announced today the completion of eleven successful kidney transplants in 2007 using its paired exchange matching system.

Traveler's Prayer, a specialty gift company located in the Hudson Valley Region of New York, will debut a new product line called Safe Journey at the New York International Gift Fair on August 12 in Manhattan. This series of designer amulets and charms contain travel-related prayers printed in the Holy Land. The company, formed in response to the founders' desire to make available a convenient and safe way to carry portions of scripture, has developed three pocket-sized talismans, made of solid brass or resin, that can be easily carried in a pocket, purse, car, boat, knapsack or attaché to provide comfort and peace of mind.
