Through the display of 30 pieces, the exhibition will illustrate the visual connections between Amish quilts and mid-20th century art and show how variations in the quilts reveal the choices of individual Amish communities. The quilts are drawn from collections at the International Quilt Study Center &#38; Museum at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, each representing distinct Amish communities. &quot;Constructed Color&quot; will be on view April 4 through September 6, 2009.      <title>The Textile Museum Announces New Hours of Operation to Take Effect in April 2009</title>

Effective April 2009 the museum will be closed to the public on Mondays. The Textile Museum is currently open Monday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday 1 to 5 pm. Zimmerman for their distinguished service in fulfillment of the Museum&#039;s mission.
