Light-bugs™ Come to Life

In Fort Collins, Colorado, Mel Ristau of Ristau Studio has started a brand new craft. Light-bugs™ (see http://www.light-bugs.com) are available in kits (starting at $17.50) including everything one needs to create these small bug-like figures. Described by Ristau as a “contemporary folk craft,” Light-bugs™ are so simple that almost anyone (including children, adults, and those with or without previous wire and beading experience) can make one in about an hour. While relaxing and fun for individuals, making Light-bugs™ is also a terrific group activity, perfect for camps, parties, classes or workshops. (PRWeb Jun 14, 2003)
