Included in the 2004 agenda is an overall mission of supporting "public policy initiatives that seek to increase access to affordable, high quality health care for all," as well as three very specific areas of concern, including advocacy for the use of provider-neutral language and for the removal of barriers to practice and reimbursement for all nurse practitioners.
