Since the website was launched in July, over 100 needy families in America have received a cash grant -- no questions asked. Anyone can post their request for money and 7 days a week, 365 days a year, a cash grant is given out to one of them. What originally started as a project to help orphans in Africa has morphed into a website to help people in the United States. Founder George Behm, 68, who has devoted his life to working with the poor in America, particularly Appalachia and Louisiana and since 2003 in Southern Africa decided to bring his organization to the web with the launch of www.GenerousGeorge.org.
