Aloni Reznik Studio Celebrates First Anniversary with a Celebration of the Senses

The Aloni Reznik Studio throws its doors open for a late summer rendezvous on August 28 at Villa de las Flores, 316 Burch Ave. in Taos, NM. From 12 to 7 pm, visitors will enjoy this meditative poetic space Diane Enright calls "Artistry in Living". It is the collaborative creation of husband and wife team fine art photographer Assaf Reznik and embroiderer Mical Aloni. This anniversary celebration will showcase the first phase of Aloni's current embroidery project "Women of Taos" and new works by Assaf Reznik. "Aloni's embroideries have the elemental resolve of haiku: every passage contains the concise realization of idea and form," says Dreishpoon, fine art author and senior curator of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, NY. Reznik's "images profoundly capture a serene moment in time" according to Charles Lovell, Director of the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos. (PRWeb Jun 25, 2004)
