Linus Pauling Lecture -- Unified Theory of Cardiovascular Disease -- Now on DVD

Nobel Prize winning chemist and world-famous scientist Linus Pauling warned that a variant of LDL cholesterol, called lipoprotein(a), or Lp(a) for short, causes blockages in human arteries leading to heart attack and stroke. In 1989, Pauling began his recommendations for large amounts of the amino acid lysine along with vitamin C for cardiovascular disease. He stated that these nontoxic substances are chemicals which inhibit the binding of Lp(a) to the walls of arteries. A one-hour lecture containing this information is now available on DVD from Intelisoft Multimedia, Inc. Previously, the Linus Pauling lecture on the Unified Theory of Cardiovascular Disease was available on VHS video only. The new DVD "chapter" format makes this life-saving information easy to navigate and review (PRWeb Aug 9, 2007)

Linus Pauling Said There is a Cure for Heart Disease - Is Anyone Listening?

Linus Pauling alerted the world to the cause of heart disease: a chronic vitamin C deficiency. Pauling, the founder of modern chemistry, holder of 48 honorary Ph.D.s, and the world's only 2-time unshared Nobel prize laureate, theorized that too little vitamin C elevates cholesterol levels, including the Lp(a) variant that causes narrowing of blood vessels. The Pauling/Rath unified theory of cardiovascular disease (CVD) constitutes one of the most promising breakthroughs in modern science; yet its intriguing prediction, that the Lp(a) binding inhibitors vitamin C and lysine will prevent and dissolve arterial blockages, has been ignored, even suppressed, by the pharmaceutical industry, the medical profession and the national media. However, the public is becoming informed. The number of seemingly miraculous reversals of incapacitated cardiovascular diseased patients increases daily. The first three such accounts are depicted by Linus Pauling on video. Linus Pauling stated that he doubted a double-blind, placebo controlled trial was necessary because the vitamin and amino acid therapy is non toxic, its effect is so pronounced, and CVD is otherwise debilitating or fatal. The VITAMIN C FOUNDATION introduces Cardio-C, a Pauling-Therapy drink mix. (PRWeb Apr 25, 2005)

Breakthrough: Retinal Photos Confirm Vitamin C Pills Can Reverse Artery Disease

A new diagnostic technique can access coronary heart disease risk (CHD) suggested by universal retinal arterial atheroma, previously thought irreversible. Physicians have overlooked, and Optometrists were not expecting that vitamin C would have this benefit. This effect was accidentally found and linked to the vitamin C that contact lens wearers had agreed to take. We have increasingly noticed it since 1999 using retinometry in the Hull Contact Lens and Eye Clinic. Such a discovery requires urgent evaluation. (PRWeb Dec 17, 2004)

It's Been Ten Years After the Death of Linus Pauling and his 'Cure for Heart Disease' is Still Being Ignored

Over ten years ago, the two-time Nobel prize Laureate, Dr Linus Pauling and his associate Dr Matthias Rath, advocated and published a definitive thesis on the root cause, treatment and actual cure for all forms of cardiovascular disease (CVD), including congestive heart failure, heart disease, and stroke. Today, cardiovascular related health problems together comprise fully one half of all causes of death in the US. Pauling's and Rath's brilliant analysis of CVD is compelling and amply supported by numerous epidemiological and clinical studies. His unified theory of CVD constitutes one of the greatest breakthroughs in modern science, but has been almost completely ignored by the mainstream medical establishment, and has received almost no press.
The vitamin C controversy is resolved

Unscientific medical research may condemn millions to death. In their recent book Ascorbate: The Science of Vitamin C, pharmacology professors Steve Hickey and Hilary Roberts describe the background science needed to understand the Vitamin C controversy and propose a new theory. Based on the evidence presented, Dr. Hickey has demanded that the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Linus Pauling Institute urgently revise their suggested recommended dietary allowance (RDA).
Canadian Authorities Now Require that Cholesterol-Lowering Drug Advertisements Must Carry Warnings about the Dangerous Results of Taking these Drugs.

The popular cholesterol-lowering prescription drugs called statins have grown into a huge business; statins are the most widely prescribed class of drugs in history. Unlike the U.S., Canadian regulatory authorities require several additional warnings regarding the statin drugs. These hazards are clearly spelled out in the Canadian ads: Statins lower coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) levels and they raise Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] blood levels. The world needs to know that scientists have discovered a perfectly safe and natural alternative statin. (PRWeb Apr 3, 2004)
