Out of the Blue: An Exhibition about Weather and the Creative Process

Conceived by artists Joy Episalla and Joy Garnett, organized by Abington Art Center curator Amy Lipton, Out of the Blue is one of the most significant shows to premier at Abington Art Center, presenting works from 22 prominent regional, national and international artists hailing from Philadelphia, NYC, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, London, Toronto and Vancouver. The exhibition focuses on the dynamics of human creativity as a metaphor for geological and atmospheric phenomena. Treating issues of weather both literally and symbolically, Out of the Blue approaches the creative process as a kind of weather system. (PRWeb Feb 28, 2006)
