Grammy winner Eddie Palmieri and salsa star Victor Manuelle will perform in concert at NYC&#039;s Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom on December 1, 2006 under the direction of Ray Santos, a master in his own right. The benefit concert is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Multicultural Music Group (MMG), headed by Dr. Luis Mojica, Executive Director, a community based organization that has provided music education and music school preparation for hundreds of NYC youth who may never have had that opportunity.      <link>http://www.prweb.com/releases/2004/09/prweb157476.htm</link><description>   <![CDATA[ <P>Jazz and Salsa luminaries will meet on November 6, 2004 to pay tribute to one of the music world&#8217;s most talented, prolific and selfless artists, the late pianist Charlie Palmieri, in New York City&#8217;s prestigious concert hall, Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.  The Tribute to Charlie Palmieri concert is part of the Annual Benefit for Global Arts &#38; Culture Series, a fundraising effort by the Multicultural Music Group, Inc. (MMG).  MMG is a non-profit organization founded in 1996 that provides free music education and training to inner city youth as they prepare for music school entrance exams and auditions.
