     <title>Philadelphia City Hall Comes Alive on Thanksgiving Day with the Opening of Christmas Village </title>

Opening Thanksgiving Day, the German American Marketing, Inc. group, in cooperation with the City of Philadelphia, is operating a month-long Christmas outdoor shopping event. The open-air Christmas Village in Philadelphia pledges to be a light-filled extravaganza, with choir and orchestral performances, a sea of evergreen trees, and more than 50 booths marketing their wares. At the center of the experience will sit the red-suited, jovial Santa Claus himself.      <title>Even Santa Claus Wants to Work with Philadelphia-Based Photography Studio</title>

The company is growing at such a rapid pace, this year Santa called to see if Firefly would host a portrait studio at the Philadelphia Christmas Village at City Hall from Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Eve (CityHallSanta.com). Firefly Photography was awarded the project for Santa&#039;s House photo booth by the German American Marketing group, who is organizing the Christmas Village in Philadelphia Christmas Village in Philadelphia is an outdoor holiday market event at Dilworth Plaza on the west side of City Hall. More than 50 vendors will form a medieval village selling European food, sweets and drinks, international seasonal holiday gifts, ornaments and high quality arts and crafts (www.philachristmas.com).      <title>Philadelphia Band, The Chimeras, Plans Release of New Album at Concert Event on Boat House Row on May 10th</title>
     <link>http://www.prweb.com/releases/2008/04/prweb898004.htm</link><description>   <![CDATA[ <P>The Chimeras, a four person rock band from Philadelphia, plans to release their new album, Party of God, at their album release party at Crescent Boat Club on Saturday, May 10th, 2008. Party of God is The Chimera&#039;s third album in three years, following Soil Beside the River and A Month of Ash. Since 2005, the band has played around Philadelphia in such venues as Johnny Brenda&#039;s, The North Star, The Khyber and The M Room. They have also performed at shows in New York City, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Baltimore. The band members, Dan Ferry, Adam Cooper, Il Shim Pearlman and Matthew Turnbull, live and play music together in a house in West Philadelphia. They converted the basement into a soundproofed recording studio for recording and rehearsing. The Party of God album will be the first release on their new record label, SlingShotStone Records. Ferry, Cooper, Pearlman and Turnbull collaborated together on Party of God. All four sing and play guitar. (PRWeb Apr 30, 2008)</P>
